Q. I paid for a business listing but I can't find it on your directory, what should I do?

When requesting your listing you will have selected a category from the drop down menu. These categories directly relate to the pages on our website. So, for example, if you selected the 'Air Conditioning' category, your listing will appear on the 'Air Conditioning' page - www.business-directory-uk.co.uk/air-conditioning.htm. All category pages can be accessed from the directory index found on our home page and at the foot of every other page. If you're still unable to find your listing then feel free to contact us.
 

Q. By paying for a business listing, is my company guaranteed to be included in your directory?

99% of paid business listing requests are successful and by paying for a listing we guarantee to review and add your web site within 7 days. We do reserve the right not to list websites that do not meet our entry criteria or that we feel are unsuitable including but not limited to, websites that are pornographic, racist or defamatory in nature. Unlike most directories though, we offer a full refund if your request is unsuccessful.
 

Q. I requested a Free business listing. When will it be added to your directory?

Free listings are very popular and due to the sheer volume of requests we receive, these can take up to 6 months to be reviewed and even then may not necessarily be added to our directory if your web site does not meet our entry criteria or we feel it is unsuitable. By upgrading to a Standard or Featured Listing, we guarantee to review and add your listing within 7 days (though often just 2-3 days).

Q. I have created a business listing, why is not displayed on your directory straight away?

The UK Business Directory is a human edited directory which means every single submission we receive is reviewed according to our entry criteria. This is very important because it ensures the quality of our site is maintained for both visitors and advertisers and is one reason why we have been helping to promote UK businesses since 1999 now.
